The Option’s methodology is aligned with the GHG Protocol, a widely recognized international standard.
We focus primarily on the real-time accounting of greenhouse gases (GHG), specifically emissions associated with logistics processes.
For example, in the last-mile delivery vertical, our unit of service is the delivery of a package from its point of origin to its final destination.

Offsetting and transparency
All offsets are carried out through the acquisition of carbon credits in projects verified and audited by internationally recognized organizations, such as Verra.
Each offset corresponds to a unique and irreversible action, as it is not possible to reverse the impact once emissions have been released.

We are committed to providing full transparency in every offset. Therefore, each action is recorded with public access:

Purchase with neutralized shipping
The customer pays for their purchase and selects the option to neutralize the shipment.

Offset registration
The offset is automatically recorded in our system.

Certificate and public access
The customer receives their carbon certificate by email, along with a link to the public offset registry.
Each offset is linked to a unique serial number, retired from the market to ensure full traceability and to prevent any possibility of double counting.
